The Principal Consultant is a critical player in any client engagement at GrowthPlay. In this role, you would be responsible for creating and executing on meticulous project plans to deliver on our commitment to client success. The role requires great attention to detail, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and client teams. You will need to have a strategic, "big picture" mindset to discover and solve the issues facing our clients. Depending on the solution, the consultant may be assigned to coach, train or assist with consulting engagements. 

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assisting in product development and thought leadership initiatives with sales and delivery enablement materials
  • Creating, updating and coordinating the work associated with project plans
  • Engaging in discovery activities, such as interviews with client subject matter experts, and analyze/synthesize insights to make recommendations
  • Creating first draft of deliverables for review, in client-ready format and style with high attention to detail
  • Responding to client and team needs in a timely manner while exhibiting authenticity, emotional intelligence and humility in all interactions
  • Assisting with solution architecture with document production on necessary proposals, SOWs, and scoping documents, providing quality control
  • Providing clients with powerful facts and analyses that outline solutions and drive change
  • Communicating/scheduling with clients to discuss project updates and meet client goals
  • Building positive working relationship with clients and team

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

  • 3-7 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations/sales support, and/or project management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required (a master's degree is a plus).
  • Must be process-oriented, optimistic, authentic, a superb writer, and a consensus-builder
  • Must be able to wear many hats, taking on whatever role is necessary to deliver value for our clients
  • Excellent listening and oral/written communication skills necessary to present information, results of analysis and recommendations to all levels of employees, including executive management
  • Mastery-level skill in MS Office tools
  • Must be willing to travel to client locations (sometimes up to 75% or more)
